The Autobiography of Malcolm X

a book review by
I cringe sometimes when I hear people say they can't understand racism in America. It all seems very plain and simple to me: Europeans enslaved Africans and then Americans set them free on the condition that they never use their freedom. What's so confusing about that?

Racism is frustrating for everyone. People who openly love and give support to all fellow humans are normal. People who don't are either just plain mean or else fucking bigots.

Racism stems a basic lack of understanding about the nature of the universe. Me, an American of European descent, I got issues with the levels of freedom in this country too. I'm just not as brave or as smart as Malcolm X was. And the world will suffer for it.
